Alexander Reid 1861?
« on: Friday 25 January 08 16:42 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

I have a relative born 1841 to James Reid and Betty Simms.  One the 1841 census, he is shown as living in Moy Hall, Inverness with his parents aged 5 months.

In 1851 he is at Castle Hill, Inverness with his father and step-mum, Ann.  There are two other children, Janet and William.

My problem is that after 1851, he disappears.

There is a possible match at 45 High street where Alexander could be working as a greocer.  Could this be him? If so what happened after this?

Any help appreciated!
