Death Lookup Please - MILDENSTEIN

Ive been looking for the death of my husbands grandfather
William Ronald Mildenstein b.Sept 1902 Toxteth Park
he was married to
Marion Davison Pink b.6 jan 1906 Salford
d. dec 1986 Herts

looked and looked but cannot find it  ???

has anyone looked and cannot find it!?  :-\
I know i found previous Mildensteins tricky to find, only to find them spelt meldenstan. So unless its been spelt wrongly! how else can i find it  :-\

Hi Debby

Alas it can be difficult!  If you are using transcribed databases and you are coming up with nothing, (I tried and failed) I would suggest trying the old fashioned way!  This entails going through the GRO death indexes on microfiche at any Record Office in the UK.

There may be an online souce that I don't know about that displays original register images post 1983, but I am not aware of one.  Perhaps someone else knows of one.
