Hi I just found them in 1881 and the gap is down to 6 years
seems srange diffrent on every one? but their ocupations are always same so guess didnt celebrate birthdays so forgot maybe

I meant the gap in kids ages, wondered if there were more in between census ?

I will have to find if the bapt & burials have been transcribed.
Although I have loads of lines in that area might be worth taking a trip to record office

as to her ocupation I dont supose you could find her in 1871
although now she should be Ann whiting wife of Henry Born 1843 Kettering as I have never seen that

The marriage was in Q4 1861 3b 384 Kettering, Northamptonshire.  You can order the marriage certificate online at www.gro.gov.uk to check her father's name and occupation is the same as you believe.

I've transcribed the image as it's written but I suspect that in re-writing the sheets he's moved the relationships up one by mistake and the older Ada would be Henry's wife.
