quebec look up please

hi

could anyone help me with this look up please as I've not been able to find anything and don't know where to look next ???

her name is Selina foxall born 1873 Quebec.
her father was Abel foxall and her mother was Selina smith.

they emigrated from liverpool sometime around1869/70 but where back by 1875 in liverpool.

they might have had other children but they don't show in the 1881 census where they are living in Cheshire.

any help very grateful

http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/archivianet/passenger/index-e.html - passenger lists are here but unfortunately not indexed. You could narrow it down by looking for only ships from Liverpool-Quebec (still a lot, though!).

http://bibnum2.bnquebec.ca/bna/lovell/index.html - Abel doesn't appear in the Montreal directories as far as I can see.
http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/canadiandirectories/ - nor any Foxall/Foxell here.

Quebec birth records for this time would all be church records, so it can be difficult to find anything without knowing where exactly people lived.

http://www.ingeneas.com/ingeneas/index.html - it would be worth paying to find the details of the entry here for Abel Foxall, see what else it has for him.

the last link i went onto and i can only see payment for usa or canada is there a way to pay in pounds?

it looks very promising so i would love to see what it says.

They'll probably take a UK credit card, but I'd email them first to make sure.

Quebec records are now indexed on ancestry, so here is Selina's birth information

Selina Foxall, daughter of Abel Foxall of Quebec and his wife Selina bye her maiden name Smith was born on the 22nd day of July, 1872 and was baptized this 4th day of August, same year.
