thanks selina if you go to google then type in romany road then click photos there is a photo of your alfred holdi  achild this is the one who was on the fairs the picture was sent in by mary wiltshire who was a scarrott  all the best cliff

ive got more information for you , i dont no if its all ready on here but i will post it tomorrow. the children of William scarrott(1765) & Margaret Whitehouse & who they married ect ( please remember its only what ive been told ) john who married sarah dore was the son of william & margaret . the family is huge and they all named the children after aunts and uncles , so its very confusing . i am a member of romanyroad but aint look at the website for ages, are you sure its Alfred and not levi     . have you got the story about john "jacks" boxing booth ? its brillant , all the famous boxers started in his booth , jimmy wilde ect . i speak to you tomorrow
