Birth Look Up Please, Bowes Parish - completed

DS, thanks for this information, it may be that the Robert in the Death record is perhaps a father or grandfather to the Robert I am trying to find.
It obviously looks as though he may have been born in Spital, Bowes but was not baptised in the Parish Church, I wonder if he was Catholic or some other religion.  I can only continue to search and hope that you wonderful people can come up with some more ideas.

Whenever he was born, I thought I might find him in Bowes in 1841census but there's only one Davis, Mary aged 60, Ind, b.Yorkshire living with farmer Ann Wrightson 50 and Isabella White 50 Ind
ref.HO107/1245/6 fol.9 p.9 

will have a trawl through my 1841 cds for Spital
