The transcripts only go up to 1812; for entries after this you need to look at the microfilm for full details of the entries. Some, but not all, of the post 1812 entries have been extracted onto the IGI, but the gaps are covered on the BVRI.

Do you have them in the 1841/51/61 censuses? If not I'll run them off
There are a number of Crouchs mentioned in Southill Baptist Church Book, so parts at least of the family were non-conformist - you may have to try to piece them together from marriages and burials if they are your line. I'll try to pull out the relevant names.
It looks to me as though the Thomas you are asking about - b 1783 - is the one from Wilshamstead, but there's nothing on the IGI
I assume this is the Louisa who married George Gregory, with whom Hannah Crouch was lodging in 1851. Do you have the marriage cert? It probably won't help a lot as there were the two Thomas's both reproducing in Southill in the mid 1820's***

David
** Thomas Crouch married Elizabeth Wright at Southill 11 Feb 1826
*** I’ve finally found the family in 1841 indexed on Ancestry as Benet! Not one letter is correct. I despair at times!

So they seemed to be fairly cavalier about baptising their children; some were, some weren’t.
PPPS Definitely the last amendment. Any more and I'll start a new message!
