David Thomson/Thompson m.1860 Co.Derry to Peggy Anne/Margaret Blair. At least 4 children:
1. Jane born 31 Mar.1867 Coleraine district
2. Rachel born 21 Aug.1869 Co.Londonderry
3. Jane Ann born 12 Apr.1875 Co.Londonderry
4. Elizabeth born 22 May 1877 Coleraine district

Note: not sure about David McNeill's occupation 'tile setter'- could be someone who set roof tiles, floor tiles, etc. Do you know exactly where marriage in 1907 took place?

David McNeill seems to have gone to U.S. first (1906 according to 1910 census) and Lizzie followed in 1907.

"Caledonia" from Londonderry, Ireland arrived New York 7 July 1907: Lizzie McNeill, age 28 years 11 months, born Coleraine, married, father David Thompson Taylors Row Coleraine, husband David McNeill 317 West 50th St. NY, 5' 5" fair complexion brown eyes dark hair.

1910 U.S. Census- 766 Ma_on [possibly Macon?] St., Brooklyn, Kings, New York: David McNeill, 27, married 3 years, b.Scotland, to U.S. 1906 Pa [Naturalization papers pending], tile setter- buildings; wife Lizzie McNeill, 28, married 3 years, 0 children 0 living, born Ireland, to U.S. 1907 (see above).

Can't see them in Ontario in 1911 Census.

Hi all, thank you, Aghadowey, and Maryderry,  for all the info on Lizzie McNeill, nee Thompson, David McNeill was my g-grandfather John McNeills youngest brother, Frank McNeill, middle brother.
I have all the info going to the USA, and coming back to get marr, then back to the USA,and NY.
I have them both coming into the USA from Toronto Canada,to a boarding hse at 317 West 50th St,NY.
On the Imm card they give add as 102 McCauley St, Toronto,Can, and she came to NY twice from Canada in 1911, 19th July, and 26th July, after that they vanish, and I cant find, them, I dont know where they have gone,or if they had any children,or any connection to any kin back in Ulster.

If that's the case then it's possible that the Thompson family attended Terrace Row Presbyterian Church and there might be details of the family in the church records. However, is it details of Lizzie's family you are looking for or are you interested in finding what happened to them?

At this moment, I am more interested in what happened to them, if I can find that out, I can then go back, and fill in the rest of their story.  This has been a mystery to my USA cousins, and I am trying to solve it for them, a good  Irish/Ulster/Scot.
Thanks again for all the help I have been given.
