Archibald Thomas HEAVENS - death

G' Day,

I am trying to trace any info on my potential maternal grandfather Archibald Thomas Heavens. He was born 1907 Swindon Wilts.

 Edith Alice (maiden name unknown) married a Heavens (date/place unknown). Archibald died around 1960.

My mother has few memories and details as she was so young when he died. However, we believe he is buried in Swindon somewhere.

Any grave look up or other leads most gratefully received.

There is a marriage registration -although it is for Archibald J Heavens (a "T" is easily mistranscribed as a "J")

Where does Edith Alice fit in???

Your mother's birth cert would give your grandfather's name and grandmothers maiden name

There was a death recorded in the Swindon Registration District for an Archibald T Heavens in the January Q 1962 aged 55 years. The reference no is 7c 798. Does your Mother remember where he died ? as he may have been buried at the nearest cemetary.

Yes - the death of Archibald in 1962 fits with the little info I have. Although it's comparatively recent history this is the first time I have been able to confirm my maternal grandfathers name and death date! 

It is tricky researching from here in Perth, Western Oz so thanks again for the help.
