I just found a marriage record that fits with my line and maybe yours.

Patrick McPoland married a Sarah Garvey on 1 Nov 1883 in Bainbridge.

Patrick is the son of William McPoland and Catherine McMahon.

Patrick is the brother of Mary McPoland.

Mary McPoland married Peter Farrell on 19 Aug 1878 in Bainbridge, Co. Down

They had a child born in Ireland before they went to Glasgow.

Catherine Teresa Farrell b. 25 Mar 1880 in Tullylish, Bainbridge Co. Antrim

Patrick McPoland is listed as a witness in her Baptism.
