Hi lynne, she would not be entitled to a Veterans badge only service personell who served during the qualifying period are entitled to it. I am not sure what you mean about the medals of your fathers, if they have been lost or stolen you may be able to apply for replacements. However I doubt if you would be able to get duplicates.

Hi ,today I have finally recieved medical records for my dad private W. Taylor who served In burma till 1946 burma,I did send for these in march  ,I now know my dad was admitted to  hospital 7 times, six times were because of malaria ,There were 15 pages from the hospitals with charts recording his progress ,on one of the charts dating 31st 12.1943 he was in the military hospital in shillong unit 4th corps hq ,so at least now I can look at the history of world war 2 burma and have some idea where he was ,so If any one sends for service records ,remember  medical records are not included these you send for them to another department
