Hi

Quote

That's not much info to go on and the for the period in question there are less marriage transcriptions

This is the only one on freebmd but without knowing the name of his spouse  ..................

Marriages Sep 1925
Tysoe  Sydney J  to female surname Wood at Wellingbro'  3b 304

A copy of one of his childrens birth certs will give his wife's name and maiden name

You need to search the full GRO index  which is available at your nearest main library if you live in the UK.  It can also be searched online if you have an Ancestry subscription or at www.findmypast.com which is a paysite

There's a Sidney G married Gypps in Hendon RD in June 1931 3a  933

But much more likely (typing as I search) is Sept 1925 Wellingborough RD 3b 304 Sydney J Tysoe and Rosella Wood (definitely RoseLLa and not the more common RoseTTa)

Regards

David

Thank you for that - my Dear Old Mum born in 1924 says she went to ''Uncle Syds''  & remembers it so the wedding  so it would be late 1920s I would think?
