Widnes Marriage Look Up

Hi there

I am trying to find a marriage for the following:

Timothy Mitchell b approx 1865 Ireland married Ellen ? b approx 1866 Widnes.
I have them on the 1901 census as living in Widnes, St Ambrose.
Any help would be most appreciated.

here they are in 1891 transcribed as mitchies but definately mitchell on the image.

ellen age 21. b. widnes. wife.
living at 18,walmesley street,st.ambrose,widnes.

this is possibly ellen in 1881 her birth date is 1868 birthplace widnes.
she is with parents thomas-francis living at 44 walmesley street,widnes. reg.dist. prescot.

Many thanks Wozzle, well it would explain why I cannot find them in 1891 if the name is spelt wrong.
Lots more stuff to investigate now, yippee, the brick wall has come down!
