LANGWORTHY Family

Hi,

I am having trouble tracing the family of Henry Langworthy.  He was born in i think Plymouth in the 1800s.  He married Fanny Morey in Portsmouth and settled there.  He had a sister Alice who also married a member of the Morey family.  Alice and Henrys parents were John and Caroline Langworthy.  Any information on this family would be much appreciated.

Can you tell us dates of his marriage so we know which part of the 1800s he left Plymouth?

How old was he when he married as this would also help find his parents?

Thanks for taking the time and trouble to help.

Hanry Langworthy was born in 1864 and I reckon he married mid 1880s as he had children born in 1888.  He was a painter in the Royal Navy and I suspect that is how he came to end up in Portsmouth.  His sister Alice was married to Thomas Dugan in the 1881 census but was widowed soon after and married George Morey in 1885 in Portsmouth.

Maybe a 1871 census would show him with this family and with another sister by then.
