Maybe/Hopefully   :)   there will be some sort of clue on the birth certificate.

Still waiting for the birth certificate to arrive they have taken the money for it, so it should arrive soon. I will be snatching it from the postman's hand before he gets it to the letterbox.  ;D

Hi All. Well Birth Certificate arrived and there is no information on it that all you hard working folk haven't already found for me. There is no address  :( So back to the drawing board. Hmm what to try next? My only other lead which may not be of any use is an old letter sent from the US to a relation in the UK in 1940. It must have been sent from descendant's of Elizabeth Rice. The address is below.

You could make a request on the Emmigrants to US Board to see if someone has access a city directory for Minneapolis, Minnesota for 1940.
