Lydia Ann Rossiter could be a possible in that a child of the Duck family is mentioned in one of the censuses.

Perhaps one of her children married into the Sly family.

it does sem strange why the 1871 cencus has rosa rossiter from frome visiting the family .me thinks there must be a connection somewhere....................... :-\ but where?

Hi alli,

James Rossiter and his wife Caroline Betsy Rossiter have a daughter Rosa born circa 1858 in Feltham.

Date-wise that pretty well matches the 1871 Census but is Feltham in the Frome area?

Found a birth in March Qtr 1859 at Frome for a Rosa Rossiter. Perhaps they are one and the same.
