looking for marriage of john/jack and ena hayes /rockcliffe/parish supposed married in hollowell area about 1928 ena was adopted from bethan childrens home in northampton in1910 by charles and emily parish they ran the pub in hollowell the red lion  and lived there all their lives ena and jack had 4 children 1st born hazel born 1928 then marj john and paul

What is the name & surname of the groom.

what are the possible maiden surnames of the bride?

married surname is smith he was known as jack but was christened john  she was reg at birth ena hayes rockcliffe in 1906 in northampton and adopted by charles and emily parish in 1910 from the bethan childrens home in northampton the parishes ron the pub in hollowell after he retired as valet or butler to the lord mayor of london ena and jack lived all their lives in hollowell ena died in 1999  their 1st child hazel was born in may 1928 she married george grace in 1950 they are my granddaughters grand parents not speaking to family hope you can help

Hazel's birth index entry doesn't appear in either jun or sept qtr 1928.

Was Hazel her full name?

And it would appear that it should be Ena Hayle Rockliffe     Dec 1906 on index.

there is nothing on there to indicate she was ever formally adopted.
