William I have married to Edith Wardle and oliver to Mary wright. I have noticed the common use of names in the fmilies in the area and I am being careful Thanks for warning.

There are two post-1911 births (when mothersmaiden name is given) in Ashby for Curtis withmaiden name Wardle
Muriel D 1911
Albert J 1915

There are loads with mums m name Wright, but there are 2 in Ashby area
Mary 1913
Phyllis 1915

these may or may not be children of your guys.

You will need to get certs to back all this up.

frank is not with them either in 1901

I had possible marriages for Sarah Ann as
either
1903 to either John Hickling or John Potter

or

1901 to George Kirby or George Pitman

 - didnt think alike there, Wozzle!

Just too many Sarah's around to be sure without getting certs, I guess

Going back to your original post, it says our elusive Frank died 1969 in Nottingham

well, I have just been through full death index for 1969 and there is no death for a Frank Curtis in Nott'm

OND Frank John Thornbury bn 1890

... so where did the original info no Frank come from?
