Mark

Well - it might depend on when you last looked, because there have been some quite impressive additions/updates recently.

I found my 3 x great granny's baptism in Lancashire about 3 months ago on the IGI and I know it wasn't there 12 months ago.  (my GGG granny wasn't baptised 3 months ago - it was in 1804!)

So it does pay to re-visit the IGI from time to time!  Glasses wont see what's not there!

Hi Mark

Just out of interest - my Edmonds family tree starts with a James Edmunds marrying a Sarah Ead in Slaugham on 3rd June 1713.
James and Sarah were recorded as being from Warminghurst, where they then went on to have their family.
At the time we found no relevant Ead records in Slougham - nothing for Sarah's christening or the like, the only possibles we came up with were one in Horsham and one in Balcombe. But we were not following the Eads, so would not have spend a lot of time on it!

So it is interesting there are Eads in Slougham a century or so later.

(Hi - Jane, I guess you didnt really want to hear about another JAmes Edmonds of mine!!)
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex
