Canterbury Baptisms

Does anyone have access to baptisms in Canterbury?.  I know they are available on CD but I don't want to buy the whole thing (mean of me I know ) just to find this chap!

Thomas TUCKEY born about 1796 Canterbury.

I beleive his family were originally from Maidstone and moved to Canterbury between 1792 and Thomas birth in 1796....possible sibling William Tuckey b Feb 1792 and baptised at Maidstone April 1792 with parents Joseph and Ann.

Edward Thomas Tuckey  Baptised 1st Sep 1799 
Parents Joseph & Ann,  at St Peters, Canterbury.

Thank you so much for looking Betty...hmm that's muddied the water a bit hasn't it?

I know my Thomas wasn't very good at remembering his age in census, I wonder if this is him ?

Don't suppose I can be cheeky and ask if there are any more Tuckey's lurking at about the same time with those same parents?

I don't mind you being cheeky

As well as Edward Thomas, there are three more children with parents Joseph & Ann -

John Baptised 6th April 1794 at Holy Cross
Stephen Baptised 25th Aug 1801 at  St Peters
Mary Ann Baptised 5th Feb 1804 at St Peters

As John was baptised in a different Church, perhaps they moved at the time of Edward's birth, which delayed his baptism, or perhaps as you say, he just wasn't good at remembering his age (I've got one or two like that LOL)

There's one other couple with the surname Tuckey, Charles Caulfield & Eliza.
