I am trying to trace the birth of Henry Thompson 1843 - he was born in Midford, Somerset and spent most of his life in Mere (which I thought was in Wilts) I have been unable to trace his date of birth, marriage details to Elizabeth Morgan (she was born in Mere 1844).

Henry's parents are eluding me as well,

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have found an 1861 entry for a Henry Thompson b Upton Noble Somerset 1841 - parents Joseph & Harriet

I can see an 1871 entry with birthplace Midford - living in Dorset  Eldest child was Arthur aged 5 so marriage probably around 1863-1866
