LOOKING FOR FAMILY OF GOERGE C SELBY AND ELSIE M SELBY

I need some help in trying to find the family of George .c selby (the c could stand for CUTLER) and he married ELSIE MAUD MORRIS. they got married  in the QTR march 1901 in the district of pontypridd,and the county of Glamorganshire.  George was b in leicshestershire loughborough and he was a Tailor. Elsie was born in Glam, pontypridd.

George had 2 other brothers William cutler selby and Arthur c. selby. Their parents were William cutler selby and Clara  selby Nee Tyler.

I have found out with some kind help that George cutler selby and his wife Elsie maud Morris lived with this family in 1901:

Hannah gilbert age 51 pntypridd glam, b abt 1850
benjamin gilbert age 15    same  b abt 1886
elizabeth gilbert age 12    same b abt 1889
stephen gilbert age 8   same  b abt  1893


George in 1901 was 22 and elsie was 19 they were probably boardering

Just to add a bit more info, WILLIAM CUTLER SELBY'S parents were BENJAMIN JON SELBY c 13 dec, 1829 gotham and MARIA HAWKSLEY CUTLER c  12 april, 1830 and she died the 1 FEB, 1890.BENJAMIN remarried later on to ELIZABETH WOOTTON b abt 1841, who BENJAMIN was probably her second husband as they had a son of ELIZABETH living with them, his name was ARTHUR WOOTTON b abt 1877 loughborough leics.

The parents of CLARA were WILLIAM TYLER and FANNY TYLER(NEE ?)CLARA was b abt 1862.

Maybe I am not alone in being a bit confused about what you are seeking - was your intention to find descendants of this family, or are there records you are looking for?

  Hi Arranroots, I,m sorry if i seem to be a slight bit confusing lolol! I confuse myself sometimes, well I am actually trying to find out more on where GEORGE CUTLER SELBY and his wife ELSIE MAUD MORRIS went to. If they had children etc.... I thought it would help if i added who there parents were. I know around 1901 they were still in pontypridd glamourganshire but after that I have no clue and I can only guess that it will be hard to find them since the  1911 census is not available yet , I,m just hoping someone will recognize these names and addd a bit more to my search, thank you for your interest ARRANROOTS.

A descendant has written a book about his colliery days (I think)
