Wilson & Gordon of Clackmannan
« on: Sunday 10 February 08 21:11 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for the parents of Harry Wilson b c 1695 in Clackmannan, and his wife Janet Gordon.   Harry and Janet married c 1715 also in Clackmannan.

I believe they had at least one child, George b c 1716 in Clackmannan.

I have no further details of parents, siblings or children.
Hope someone can help,
Regards,
CB

Thank You for this beans.
It looks like I'm on the right track, with one of their daughters named Janet. But it would have been nice to see a Harry.
Anyway, i can now search a bit further with these names, and try to establish their parents.
Regards,
Chris

hi cb i might help if you check on the name harry as there are names that are interchangable like he might be henry and harry is nickname like prince harry.  just a suggestion.  the way our ancestors changed their names makes it difficult for us to trace them.    beans

Harry Wilson may have been born to John Wilson and Jean Robertson.
He did marry Janet Gordon but i have no further details.
Are parental details given for the siblings you have found?
