Right - now - if you are Welsh, I apologise in advance   ;)  - and if you are not I hope you know some who is !   ;D

This is what I think it says:  You did say an "address of sorts "  :P

Clawryclwyn by Cumauws  -  the last word might begin with a G. And it might be Gumdaws or Gumdauws.  Then - Clawrplwys Hamlet, and then Mynyddislwyn

Not only is the script very scruffy, the language is foreign, and I can't even make a guess - educated or any other sort  ???  8)

Hope this is a little bit helpful, anyway.

Oh goodness !  I just noticed you've a red dragon avatar!  Honest - I tried!

think it might be Cwmdows, and the hamlet is definitely Clawrplwyf.

Thank you Osprey!   I had actually written it down earlier when I wrote out the family, but didn't include it because frankly I thought it didn't look likely!

I hope between us he can work it out!

Should steer clear of the Welsh ones  :-\    :-[  but it seems mean when I've got access -   :D

Many thanks to Osprey and Mum44 for the address, and yes mum I am pleased to regard myself as Welsh but as I can not speak the lingo myself it would be foreign to me also.

Regards
Roy
