J T Inskip / Bishop Inskip
« on: Friday 15 February 08 16:01 GMT (UK) »
Hi,
I'm trying to find out about a J T Inskip. He is on the marriage certificate of my relatives Josiah Lemmon b 1851 and Mary Jane Leach b 1879. A Lilian Hamilton Inskip was a witness. We're trying to work out if there is any relation to a bishop Inskip who we were told Mary Jane worked for.
Many thanks  :)

From FreeBmd it was in Newcastle upon Tyne March ¼ 1916. A Dr. Inskip was the Suffragan Bishop of Barking in 1927.

Yes, it was James Theadore Inskip, who was the Suffragan Bishop of Barking, Lilian was his wife :)

Brilliant! Thank you so much  :)
Yes the marriage was in 1916 (I'm not at home at the moment, so I don't have the other details). That certainly gives me something to go on though.
Many thanks  :)
