That does seem to be the right marriage .... but names missing  ???? FreeBMD comments 97% complete for March 1851

You could order it on the provison that the wifes name was Charlotte - thy'd refund £4.00 if it wasnt ..... overall, seems better to get the Birth Cert ?

No I haven't got any certificates for this family. I have looked at the 1841 census and the Charlotte FRIEND is the only Charlotte turning up she was with a Jane and about 1827 which matches Charlotte Heard on the 1851,61 &71 census
Her son married a Betsey FRIEND who was the Grand daughter of William and Jane FRIEND so I wondered if Robert's mum was indeed the Charlotte Friend on the 41 census. Then comes problem No 2 William and Jane did indeed have a Charlotte but on Family Search a transcript of the PR Charlotte was baptised in 1822! Did they have a 2nd Charlotte in 1827? So many strange things happening here.
I looked at the complete marriage index for Mar 1851 with out finding a Charlotte FRIEND either Strange ???
