Florence E Fenn, wife, 31, born Clapham Sussex
Hubert H Fenn, son, 9, born Clapham, Sussex
Florence M Fenn, daughter, 7, born Plumstead, Kent
Stanley V G Fenn, 6, born Plumstead, Kent
Joseph T Fenn, brother, 24, born Woolwich, Kent

Can't quite make out Harry and Joseph occupations so have attached the page, possibly Engine Fitters?

that's the one! But as Newfster said (and he was ahead of me on that one!) there were other Huberts around.

If that 1901 is him, then the Reading link has gone, he is born Sussex and living in Hampshire

(Yep, Newfst, I know it was in jest. Thats the trouble with computer speak, senses of humour just dont come over do they, and I have definitely have one!)
(PS, sorry Arranroots, yes we do know about living people , but just zzomed passed them in our enthusiam!)

Birth December 1/4 1881 in the district of Hailsham (nowhere near Clapham which is in West Sussex, near Worthing and 2 seconds drive from my house, Halisham is in East Sussex, near Eastbourne) Anyway;

I agree that that chap seems likely, but as Liz says, w/o the 1914 Marriage Cert and sight of his fathers name to confirm it ......

allegs - is it Clapham, Sussex, or does th eimage say Clapham, Surrey? which would fit in better with him coming from Woolwich and a marriage in Lambeth.

I cant see clearly on the image you have posted (too much computer work ruined the eyesight!) I know it is transcribed Sussex, but al of a sudden I am wondering

I think the 1901 reads "SURREY" not Sussex.  Much nearer to Woolwich and Plumstead.
And the Ivy M Fenn birth is not 1913 but much later (I won't post it as she still might be alive!)
