Hi Barbara,

 Firstly the PRs marriages dont start till 1837 so im unable to help you with this but think Tati has helped you there.

Secondly there seems to be two Thame familys with children in Grove , one John and Elizabeth and the other is a Joseph and Sophia. Could this be Johns brother?

I have looked up the children of John and Elizabeth for you as follows.

      11 July 1841 Sarah, 7 July 1844 Henry, 27 Dec 1846 Charles,
      8 July John godparents are Stephen Liddiard, Mary Hall and Daniel Hyatt
      7 Dec 1851 Emily godparents are Thomas Dawson, Elizabeth Dawson and Hannah Hitchman
      5 Nov 1854 Josiah.

It looks like Hepburn had the right family in the 1851 census.

The spelling of the name does change from Thame to Tame after Henry as well and going through the baptism further i did see a child for a Charles.

Dont know if you would like this info as well or if you have it already but im happy to look further for you , just let me know.

 Caroline Whitfield minor, sp, o.t.p, dau of Peter occ lab.

You have confirmed some of the info I already had and added a lot more to it. 

I think that I have found 9 children for Charles and Caroline but confirming their birth dates would be great.  They are:
