I'm not sure what dates the CD covers so don't know if the online index will be of any help (1803-1880) :-\

If you have got the Admission No. and any other details. You can write to
Lt. Col R Say: Bursar: Duke of York's Royal Military School: Dover: Kent: CT 15 5EQ.
Apparently they don't hold all records, but I struck lucky and got plenty of info re my Great Uncle who was in Scots Fusilier Guards after being at the asylum.
Roberts - Kent/Middx. Trow/Harris - Surrey. Johnston -Scotland, Lanarkshire, Barony (Glasgow). Brown - Buckinghamshire. Beale - Middx/Surrey. Hardwick - East London/Essex.
