Hi Danone,
Don't know if this will help, but Oadby and Market Harborough are both in Leicestershire.
Oadby is nearer Leicester, but is on the main route between Leicester and Market Harborough.
Good luck!
Kind regards,
Paulene.

Hi Danone,

The date that you found for John's christening was "submitted" information from an  LDS church member, so should be treated with caution.   Usually parish registers will only record the date of the christening and not the birth.  I have transcribed some Dorset registers and found a birth date recorded only a couple of times.

The only way to find the date for Elizabeth is to buy a copy of the certificate or search the register which is probably held at the county record office.

Hope that helps,

Nanny Jan
