Lilian Sears

I am searching my mother in laws family tree, one of her mothers sisters Kate Curtis married a Harry Sears, I can find no record of such marriagel  Source claims daughter named Lily married someone called Mason and now my question, she celebrated her 100 birthday in Nov 2007. She is living in a town called Worcester. Now my research has a Sear born Dec 1906, Lilian . My source might have forgot this is 2008 and her last November is a year off. I'm thinking it must have hit the local paper. Thanks in advance for any help or ideas anyone can offer.
