COMPLETED A look up please.
« on: Wednesday 20 February 08 01:21 GMT (UK) »
In an 1821 Fermanagh census David Trotter was shown as 72 years of age, so I wondered if he or his wife and children were shown on the 1841 census.
I will show an approximate age for the wife and children for 1841:
Catherine 79, George 49, William 36, Alexander 33 and Catherine 42.
There may be other children that I don't have as there are gaps between what I think was the marriage of David and Catherine (1789 which I think was in Scotland) and the children.
I do hope someone can help me please.

Going through older posts and noticed this one had not received a reply.

Unfortunately the 1841 census, and most pre-1901 census records, was destoyed. Small fragments for a few areas survive and extracted details from 1851 and 1841 are sometimes found in pension applications.
