I am hoping to find information on the birth and marriage regarding John Todd, who was a Coal Miner born in Berwick.
In the 1841 census, John is living in Bigges Main, Benton:-

Ann Todd - 35 - b.NBL
Thomas Todd - 9 - Coal Miner - b.NBL
Jane Todd - 7 - b.NBL
William Allen - 14 - Coal miner - b.NBL
1851 census, John is still at Bigges Main:-
Head - John Todd - 48 - Coal Miner - b.Berwick-on-Tweed
Wife - Ann Todd - 42 - b.Durham, Gateshead
Stepson - William Allen - 22 Coal Miner - b.Byker, NBL
Son - Thomas Todd - 17 - Coal Miner - b.Byker, NBL
Dau - Jane Todd - 15 - b.Longbenton NBL
1861 census, John is living at Dudley NBL:-
Head - John Todd - 60 - Coal Miner - b.Berwick-on-Tweed
Wife - Ann Todd - 54 - b.Felling, Gateshead
G.Dau - Dorothy Todd - 7 - b.Bigges Main
G.Son - John Todd - 5 - b. Bigges Main
1871 census, still at Dudley:-
Head - John Todd - 72 - Coal Miner - b.Berwick-on-Tweed
Wife - Ann Todd - 65 - b.Felling, Gateshead
G.Dau - Dorothy Todd - 17 - b.Bigges Main
G.Son - John Todd - 15 - Coal Miner - b.Bigges Main
G.Dau - Mary Sams - 4 - Dudley NBL.
John died in 1872.
This would suggest that John's, wife, Ann was married before and had a son called William Allen, and she must have married John around 1833/1834.
John was probably born in Berwick in about 1799 (give or take a couple of years).
If anybody has any suggestions as to where I could find the marriage of John and Ann, and also how I could find John's birth I would be very appreciative.
