Thanks Ken.

Much appreciated.

I was hoping to find out a little more about James himself.

From the Crimea medal roll (which is very difficult to read) it looks like:

1328? Pte J.E.Dray, 4th LD
Definitely entitled to clasps for Alma, Inkerman, Balaklava, Sebastopol.
Name interests: Boulton, Murrell, Lock, Croxton, Skinner, Blewett, Tonkin, Trathen.

Thank you very very much Neil and Annie.

That information is brilliant Neil.

Annie I am fine thanks and hope you are faring well.

Still trying to do my war project which includes men other than the 2 world wars deaths who died later in life like above.

The cementry staff are so kind and helpful and let me stay so long I am offered coffee and biscuits.

The staff in the actual cemeteries are used to us trawling around with the maps and camera and often point us to one we may have missed.

The other topic of the memorial stone going home is wonderful.

Also the memorial plaque to the person found for you as you say was brilliant.

Take Care all.

Thanks to the three of you again.

Sandy
