Henrietta Dumbrell (nee Grayling)
« on: Sunday 24 February 08 09:04 GMT (UK) »
Hi
I am looking for Henrietta Dumbrell (nee Grayling) she died in October l842 giving birth to
a child in Whitechurch.  She was married to William Dumbrell born l8l5 in Lewes.  I was trying
to find out whether the child was born.

Hi Diane,

The death was registered in Whitechapel. There doesn't seem to be any Dumbrell birth registered in Whitechapel in the same or the following quarter  :(

I can't spot Henry William in 1851 to check his children

Hi
William Dumbrell was born in l8l5 in Lewes Sussex his father was Richard Dumbrell and
Jane Myles.

I did get a death certificate of Henrietta but I will have to look for it all I know she was
having a baby and died at child birth.  Someone did say that the baby lived but I am not
sure.

Oh, that's why I couldn't see him! Did you find the shipping records? Was there a child age 2?

I am not sure.  One of my cousins here in Australia gave me the people that were on the
"neptune".  Did you find the records yourself????If you did I would like to see what you found

ok
I just looked at the paper I had on the "neptune" and there is no child come out on the
ship a couple were dead.

Can you look to see if there is a birth of a Dumbrell I think its a boy born in October l842.
Thanks.
