James's mother was isabella Thomson, now married to Matthew Cranslow?
and Elizabeth's parents were James thomson and Isabella Grant..
JO ;D

modified..
I think the surname might actually be Cranston..

This could be your James William wallace Thomson. in the 1901c.

This ismy grandfather, I have his birth certificate and it says illegitimate paternity proven and a reference that I have never checked upon. My father was called James Wallace Thomson who as  married to Bessie Jean Thomson they had three children Evelyn Chads Thomson born 26 Oct 1936.  Then James Wallace Thomson born 11 Feb. 1939 in Whitechapel London!!!then Herbert Norman Thomson who died 6h July 1940. They were living at 40 frogmore terrace Aberdeen at this time. I am wondering if Evelyn and James Wallace Thomson are still alive because I am their half brother. Any help would be appreciated. I also think my uncle called Herbert Thomson emigrated to Canada.

Lindy-lou, my father was James Wallace Thomson , I have his army record which shows that he was the father of your James Wallace Thomson born in February 1939. This would make my father your grandad and that I will be your father's half brother and thereby your I am your uncle. Is your father still alive?. I my father had three children to his first marriage, he divorced and married my mother who he met in the war in yorkshire. I hope that you see this message If you want me to I can tell you all about my father / your grandfather. I used to visit Aberdeen when a child. Please reply to me if you would like to
