Hi all, this is posted for Mightyquinn. She would like to know what year, if possible, or what war, and whether the photo was taken in England. Any comments will I'm sure be well received.

Hi China this is a 1st world war hospital (some of the men are wearing "hospital blues") scene. so 1914-1918

Like old Rowley says, it is WW1, but wherabouts!  Could be England, or could be France to me, in summertime.

This is a list of quite a few hospitals in England during WW1 ..... pretty impossible to say which one ... unless you know an approximate whereabouts !!  ::) ::)

The style of architecture is very typical of South East England, and Sussex in particular - tile hung walls, and small leaded windows which are close to the eaves.

Trees are a bit odd though....  :-\

Good...my own guess was WWI, judging by the two women in civilian dress...also I thought it would be England, it looks very English to me but you lot would be better at looking English than me ;D
