Hi willyb,

Can you give us some more detail?

Do you know roughly when they were married..........1890?......1920?

Did the marriage take place in Luton or is that where you have found them?

Hi Willyb

You will need to trawl through the complete BMD images quarter by quarter I'm afraid. You can do this free on Ancestry.co.uk - no need to be a subscriber just register. It'll take a while but you'll get there in the end and at least for the dates you are looking at the surname of the person married is also listed.

Good luck :D

Hi willyb,

Sorry but I don't have access to www.ancestry.co.uk to search the BMD index.  I'm sure another  Rootschatter will have a look for you.

Good luck!

As these people could still be alive it probably falls outside Rootschats rules. Unless Willyb can convince us otherwise

Unfortunately access to the GRO indexes via Ancestry.co.uk is no longer free - you have to pay/be a subscriber to get into them. I think the free access was just a "come on" to get people interested.

Hiya Willyb

You can look at copies of the GRO index via FreeBMD. On the main page (not the search page) there is a button marked 'view images'

Its a bit longwinded but it does pull up the images

Good hunting!
