Lost ALDENS in Wilts
« on: Friday 02 April 04 00:01 BST (UK) »
Hi List
George Alden & Eleanor Tocock (b 1817 Eversley) were married 1837 in Reading, Searches so far have failed to trace their movements until they appear in Forest of Dean 1856 with there children,George,William,James,Henry,Alfred ,Thomas & Stephen. I am trying to find where they were between 1837-56 - has anyone any leads
please.

Hi Ali
Many thanks for that - the message was a couple of years ago and I have been making great inroads since then, The one piece of information Was the birth place of George Alden - the East Throldber is not somewhere I ahev coma across as yet. Thoole is actually Theale.

Yes that would be great if you have anything in the 1841 census, Being railway workers they moved a lot, or even where somewhere quite different after driving a train on the day of the census. Oh and by the way this is my GGGrandfather.
