Hello Phil

Thank you for all that you have written.  I was confused that knowing so much and finding nothing that something must be wrong.  Even the the regiment of my dad is not written on the medal card in full.  This is the difference between using a computer and relying for many years on libraries and all the other sources altho I must say that  a computer is a marvel and the help so freely given on Roots Chat is a dream come true.

It was good to hear from you and everybody else.  It makes one feel less inadequate.

Who ever filled in the form filled it one line out. So it should read:

Theatre of War or Command: Irish
Born in the year: 1897
Medical Category: A
Place of rejoining in case of emergency: Oswestry
Specialist Military Qualification: Nil

This is on page 52667. Ann is mentioned on the second page, ie 52658

Thank You, Ken.  I must not have moved on to the second page.  It is good that there are others who know the site or else we would miss so much.
