thanks for this link.

especially interesting to everyone with Irish ancestors is this one:

Records for Passengers Who Arrived at the Port of New York During the Irish Famine, [...] documenting the period 1/12/1846 - 12/31/185

this includes 604,596 records from the  "Famine Irish Passenger Record Data File"
and 3,226 records from "Records List of Ships that Arrived at the Port of New York During the Irish Famine, 1/12/1846 - 12/31/1851"

I hope you don't mind, but I immediately "spread the news" to "my" german forum, as there are a lot of searchers there looking for Emigrant-Ancestors in America.
