The couple in the photo were born 1861 & 1863.Im guessing they look 60+ which takes us up tp 1920's.But do the clothes fit that period?

I wouldn't have thought 1920's, maybe 1915 at latest, even suposing the lady liked to keep her dresses for a while after they were out of fashion. But, having said that, they need not be in their 60's. It could be the white beard and receding hair that makes the man look older. They could well be in mid 50's.

Perhaps they werent as old as they looked then? Hard life?-8 kids!  Would their clothes have been "sunday best"? The last of their children was born in 1899.I dont have the original photo,its a copy.The original is in Missouri with my Great Aunt.Ill ask if there's anything on the back of it. Thanks for your input. :)
