"Lady H K"?
« on: Wednesday 05 March 08 20:19 GMT (UK) »
1841  HO107/712/14
Mile End Old Town
Jane Pattison, 50 (indexed as Patteson), Lady H K
Francis Pattison, 20, Ind

I'm sure I'll be kicking myself, but can someone translate the entry after Jane's name please?

I had been assuming that these two were the same as on these baptismal entries:

2 Dec 1812   Margaret daughter of Thomas and Jane Pattison of MEOT, master mariner
25 Dec 1815    Francis son of Thomas and Jane Pattison of Ratcliff, master mariner

I think Jane is the Jane Patterson, 64, who is an annuitant in 1851.

(There is another Lady H K on the next page)

Sounds good (although the only other person in the household is her son).

I go with Madpants, looking at the census sheet there is 6 people in the house including two people down as Ind. // in line with Jane, then /  in line with Mary Robson, then // lines , in line with Henry on the folowing page.
