Kirkyard of Olives

A friend of mine has an 1858 death certificate for someone who died in the Parish of Fetteresso.  The registrar has entered the place of burial as the Kirkyard of Olives.  Has anyone heard of this kirkyard ?  If he is buried in Fetteresso parish the only kirkyards I know of are Fetteressso Kirkyard and Cowie Kirkyard, the latter being known as St Mary of the Storms.  My friend tell me that it is written quite clearly.

Perhaps it was a nickname given to the kirkyard by the person whose death certificate it was?
Maybe s/he thought the design on the gates reminded her/him of Olive leaves?

Many thanks for you replies Su and Jim.  I have a horrible feeling that this is one of those reinforced concrete walls 
My friend had intended to visit Cowie Kirkyard in the hope of finding a memorial stone for her ancestor but the Aberdeen & NE Scotland FHS has 'done' Cowie and there is no memorial for the surname JOLLY.

Perhaps your friend would like to post details of her Jolly, sometimes someone can read a thread and recognise a name or place that correlates with their family - may be worth a shot.

My friend now thinks that it is Kirkyard of Durris, badly written.  This would make sense as Thomas Jolly's wife, Isabella Gordon was born at Durris, and is probably buried there.

No problem at all it was fun to think that there may have been a Kirkyard of Olives in Scotland!

Durris will be just as exciting though!

I hope your friend makes a great discovery - post a photo when she find sit it will be of interest to all Isles

Just had a quick look at the ANESFHS MI website, And I can't see an Isabella Gordon or a Thomas Jolly in Durris.
