William Dunn - b.1799/1800 - Jane Fenwick b. 1806
« on: Saturday 08 March 08 01:14 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

I'm trying to find information on William Dunn born in 1799/1800 in Monkseaton, Tynemouth.

He married Jane Fenwick (probably before 1830) and had 9 children between 1830-1850.

By 1851 he was farming at Fugar House in Tanfield, Durham.

Jane was born 1806/1807 at Ryton, Tyne and Wear.

Both died in 1886.

Any help would be appreciated. In particular I am keen to know the names of local parishes for Monkseaton and Ryton as I assume that is where their marriage occured.

Thanks

Pete

Thanks Barbara....just found them to through Joiners.

Thank you very much for your help.

No, I haven't got them in the 1841 Census...I suspect that they are out at Lamesley by then as only their oldest child was born in Monkseaton (sp?).

Best regards

Pete

There are a few William & Jane Dunns, can you give a few of the children's names that might still be at home?

In 1841:

Henry 11
Mary 9
Jane 4
Martha 1

Possibly Edward 0 (depending on census date)

Thanks
