Little Annie =I have access to Clonmany Births pre 1900 and Marriages up to 1949 thanks to Daniel j Devlin. On 21 Nov 1922 Sarah Harkin,  Father James, Straws, married James Doherty, Mindoran Clonmany, Father Mannasses, Bestman John Harkin Straws, Bridesmaid Ellen Doherty Mindoran.

Well Rossee it's seems you definitely  found the right information on my grandfathers sister!  According to my cousin  James brother Philip moved to Derry and lived in Abbey street according to my  cousin. It seems Sarah and James left donegal and was in the victualler business!?  They or a child moved back to the inishown area in later years.

But I cannot find a marriage for Mary harkin marrying a Grant? But I found a Sarah Mccallion marriage to a Grant same father as Fanny etc maybe the neice?

The missing sister Mary!
Well after all this searching I thought OK no more surprises until now, looking at both census of 1901/11 I thought I had the whole family but not so.
Mary born 10 July 1891 married John Grant 1911,
I can only presume either the parents had little money or Fanny was finding it difficult to cope with 2 young babies so she was passed of to another member of the family. I have found one of Mary being a niece with the farren family but records of marriage, ages, don't add up nothing new there.

Much easier for us if you post links rather than files that need to be downloaded and also include all details for information you found.

Here's a Mary Harkin (as niece) with Farren family in 1901- but she was born in America according to census-
http://census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Donegal/Tremone/Drumaville/1186400/
In 1911 still with Farrens (as servant) and still born in America-

So, how do you figure that's the correct Mary Harkin in census records as the 1891 birth in Donegal?

Here's the 1911 Grant/Harkin marriage-

Hi Aghadowey
Bit of a error on my part putting Mary with the Farren family as I failed to drag across place of birth etc thank you for correcting my mistake.
But that still means where was Mary living and who with etc maybe a family member of the grant family could enlighten me if not public maybe private. Cheers little annie
