Hi extended family

My great grand father was Thomas D'Arcy,My grand father was Michael 'Sonny' D'Arcy and my mum Dolly (Bridget) was called after his sister' Mary Ann. I grew up in Duniry and my Mum & Dad still lives there today, Jimmy & Dolly Sheil  As Does Rose's daughter in law Birdie Donoghue and some of her family.

I am living in Australia but my mum will love all this.

Hi I have just joined this forum. Are you still looking for information of Darcy's originating from Lakabaun Duniry/Tynagh.

I am the great grand son of James Lawrence and indeed Great Great Grand Son of Anna and James Thomas D'Arcy. I have a bit of info on them.

My Grand Father James Lawrence was raised in Duniry. He appears in both the 1901 census and 1911 census.

Yes the James Lawrence referred to is my grand father.
He was present in his grand mothers home for the 1901 census and with his Aunt Eleanor Brady (nee D'Arcy) for the 1911 census.

Not sure how old this post is. Are you still looking for information on the  Darcy (Postman) from Duniry?
I have just started my research and have come across them.
Thomas's father Michael was by great grand fathers brother.
