Howat - Morrison looking for marriage info pls.

Hi

Im looking for information on this marriage please.

Alexander Howat to Sarah Morrison,  Alexander was born in Grange in Banff 1872. He Died in Aberdeen in 1964. They had a son Robert and a daughter Catherine.

I dont know where he was married or where the children were born. Any info would be great.

Thanks.. Yes thats his family.
Him, Alexander,  and his mum and dad and brothers and sister.

I cant find anything about his marriage to Sarah anywhere though, or his childrens births. When? Where? Im probably just not looking correctly.

Hi David, like you I can't find Alexander's marriage to Sarah anywhere in the U.K. or the children's births.

I don't know if you are aware that Alexander was one of 11 children born to GEORGE HOWAT and ISABELLA GRANT who married 13th Mar 1853 Inverkeithny Banff. The marriage is also reg. Boyndie on the same date. George's parents look to be GEORGE HOWAT and JEAN MUNROE.

Sorry forgot ch 26th May 1822 Inverkeithny.

I've noted down the 11 children if you need them.

Thanks for looking for me. Yes, I have all the details of Alexanders mother and father and the 11 children, and the double reporting of the marriage in two places.. yes I was confused by that. My father in law is adamant that his grandparents are / were Alexander and Sarah. More digging around needed here.

Thank you too, for the look up for me. I dont have any information of a remarriage. The youngest child that I have for George and Isabella would have been 16 by 1891 so possibly none were still at home by then? I havent come across an Alexa as yet for this family.

for alexa could well be mistranscribed(is that a word)
unless anyone can find a better match i think that alexa
is alexander

I haven't come across the name being altered to HEWATT before. HOWAT and HOWIT but def no HEWATT'.
