Hi

Ive got a litle more information on Alexander Howat.

I have a copy of his birth cert from Scotlands People and found details of his death cert there too. I thought I could confirm his marriage with the death cert. But..  on Scotlands People it says .. No Image Available. Can someone advise me what to do next?

Means he died after images are available online - if you were to look at the extreme right of the page it gives you the option to order a copy of the extract - £10.  Shall pm you with other options.  Regards,   Steve   :O)
