;D  Thanks Falkryn... they are all mine

I'm sure I had found a few of them before my subs on ancestry ran out but at the time I couldn't place them all into my tree and stupidly forgot to write down the details.  However I can definately claim  them all now although I can't quite place Alison aged 23 and Margaret Bowe aged 2  ... sure it won't be long before I get them squeezed in somewhere tho lol.

I'm sure there is a connection to the other Lanarkshire Bogles as well but as it stands I'm only as far back as William Bogle bn 1755 who was married to the Stewart Bogle you found above ........ sneaky man is hiding his place of birth from me at the moment lol.

Thanks again, really appreciate it :)

The main index lists 73 individuals named Bogle living in Lanarkshire for the 1851 census 10 of whom were born in Biggar 5 of those were still living there.

5 others born outside Biggar are listed as living in Biggar with the rest dotted around Lanarkshire.

Falkryn? could I be very cheeky and ask if you would mind giving me the names are for those other Bogles BORN in Biggar? They are bound to be related to my lot so maybe trying to work backwards from another angle might help me get a bit further.

P.S ... re the "corn fraveler in Rooks" , I'm sure I have this william on a later census with his occupation as being a BOOK salesman/binder (something along those lines) so I'm guessing very bad handwriting on the enumerators part lol.
